1. What are It's All Good Southern Kitchen's operating hours? Our normal operating hours are 11am-8pm, Monday-Friday, 3pm-8pm on Saturday, and closed on Sundays. These hours may be influenced by holidays. While our store is closed Sunday, we do offer catering on Sundays with a higher minimum order. Call us at 336-226-0791 for Sunday catering availability. 
2. What is on It's All Good Southern Kitchen's menu? Our menu features a wide collection of Southern country-cooking favorites like chicken pie, beef tips and rice, meat loaf, and turkey. We also have some soul food flair with mac and cheese, collard greens, and smashed sweet potatoes, as well as, classic American food favorites like burgers and hot dogs. And we can't forget a wide range of desserts, we often have more than 10 desserts ready to purchase! Our full menu can be seen at our online ordering portal here. 

3. Does It's All Good Southern Kitchen offer dine-in? Yes! We offer counter-service dine-in at our 3281 S Church St A location in Burlington NC. By offering a counter-service format, we're able to offer fast service without making you feel pressured to leave a big tip at the end of the meal like a full-service restaurant. Your meal goes at your speed, order when ready, get your own drink, and we'll bring the food out - stay as little or as long as you'd like! 

4. Does It's All Good Southern Kitchen offer takeout? Yes! The best way to get takeout from us is to order online at our online ordering portal here. 

5. Does It's All Good Southern Kitchen offer delivery? Yes! We offer delivery directly from our own website at a significantly lower cost than if you order from Doordash, Grubhub, or UberEats. The average customer saves 20-30% per order when they order with us instead. We offer totally fee-free delivery - that means no service fee, no delivery fee, no subscription fee, and in-store pricing - on any order of just $25 in the eligible radius. 

6. What is It's All Good Southern Kitchen known for? We were voted Best Country Cooking by the Times News Readers Choice Awards in 2025 and 2020, 2019, and 2018 for our commitment to scratch-made recipes. We don't use "bagged" or frozen food—our mac n' cheese, collards, and yams are prepared in-house daily, just like Sunday dinner at home.

7. Does It's All Good Southern Kitchen offer catering? Yes! We offer a wide variety of catering including Southern Spread Buffets, boxed lunches, sandwich catering, burger bars, hot dog bars, snack bars, and single pans for potluck style dinners. Make sure not to use ezCater to order after making your "catering near me" search, we have far more options, more delivery times, a wider delivery radius, and better pricing at our own catering website right here. 

8. What is the best selling menu item at It's All Good Southern Kitchen? Our Beef Tips n' Rice is by far our best-selling entree. Our secret is in our real, homemade beef gravy - not that cheap powdered stuff everyone else uses! Our mac and cheese is our best-selling side known for its incredibly rich and cheesy 5-cheese blend. Lastly, our best-selling desserts are our banana pudding and cookie butter cheesecake - both are worth a visit all to themselves!

10. Can I order It's All Good Southern Kitchen on Doordash, Grubhub, UberEats, and ezCater? Yes, but you will overpay. It will save you 20-30% per order to use our direct website for regular delivery and our direct catering site for catering orders. These third-party platforms charge us high fees, impose predatory policies, and allow fraud to run rampant which are all costs that we have to pass along to consumers on third-party sites. We do not have these markups on our direct ordering websites. 

11. Should I get Cracker Barrel catering? While that is an option for Southern food, Walmart Supercenter in Mebane and American Express in Whitsett switched to choosing local at It's All Good Southern Kitchen instead. The locals agree as well, Vanessa on Google Reviews wrote "Ditching Cracker Barrel for this place!" and we won Best Country Cooking in Alamance by The Times News Readers Choice Awards in 2025 over Cracker Barrel. 

12. How long does it take to get an order at It's All Good Southern Kitchen? We're fast! Most orders are completed in just 5-8 minutes. Duane Tutor on Google left us a positive review about service speed saying "prompt service & the order came out hot & quick."

13. Is your Homestyle Mac & Cheese made fresh every day? Yes! Unlike chains that use frozen blocks, our Mac & Cheese is made from scratch daily using real cheese and cream. Because we cook in small batches to ensure freshness, the texture can vary slightly—but the homemade, southern flavor is always 100% authentic.

14. How do you ensure my food arrives hot for takeout or delivery? We prioritize temperature for every Southern meal we serve. Our takeout and delivery orders are packed in high-heat retention containers. For the fastest delivery, we recommend a gratuity that reflects the effort of independent drivers who deliver our orders through Doordash Drive. Since drivers can see tips in advance, well-supported orders are often prioritized for pickup, ensuring your Beef Tips or BBQ stays steaming hot from our kitchen to your door!

15. What is the dining atmosphere like at It’s All Good? We are a "hole-in-the-wall" style Southern Kitchen that focuses on "Flavor over Fancy." We keep our atmosphere casual and cozy so we can keep our prices affordable and our portions large. We’re the perfect spot for a quick, high-quality country-cooked lunch without the pretension. Our counter-service style gets you in and out fast without waiting on a server to take your order or bring your bill. Enjoy your meal at your speed: order when ready, we'll bring the food out, then stay as long or as little as you'd like! 

16. How do you season your traditional Southern sides? We use traditional, "Old School" recipes for our collard greens, yams, and beef tips. We season to enhance the natural flavors of the fresh ingredients—not to mask them. We also take great care to make sure our menus have accurate flavor profile descriptions that call out major flavors - such as "sweet" glaze on our Mama's Meat Loaf or "no veggies" on our Chicken Pie. We also tag items with a "no sugar added" label if you're sensitive to sugar. Be sure to check our menu listing for every item you order (including sides) on our site for the description of flavors and special tags. 

17. Is your Southern cooking heavily seasoned? We use traditional Southern recipes that rely on slow-simmered broths and time-honored seasonings. While we aim for that bold "Grandma's Kitchen" flavor, we understand everyone's palate is different. If you prefer a lighter touch, items like our Fire Roasted Chicken or Side Salads are great lower-sodium options that still pack plenty of fresh flavor.

18. How are your portion sizes? We have large portion sizes. In fact, several reviews call out our portion size including Roger Scarlett on Google who said "portion size to price can't be beat" and Alanna Cousin on Google who said "Large portions, seasoned to perfection"
